Aremo Adekunle Adegboyega Alao, Federal Commissioner representing Osun State at the Public Complaints Commission and aspirant for Osun Central Senatorial District, has officially confirmed his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), effective January 4.
He explained that the decision followed deep reflection and was guided by principle, integrity, and a firm commitment to the best interests of the people of Osun State, stressing that his political journey remains rooted in service and sustainable development.
Aremo Alao reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty and full support for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke, whom he described as a transformational leader committed to people-centered governance and visible progress.
He praised the Governor’s achievements in infrastructure, workers’ welfare, inclusive governance, and grassroots development, noting that transparency, unity, and peace under the current administration have restored public trust and strengthened democratic values.
