• Commends Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Leadership, Calls for Continued Support for His Re-election in Osun State

‎The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate and Mayegun Adinni of Irewole/Isokan/Ayedaade Federal Constituency, Senator Lere Kamorudeen Oyewumil, has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr. 

‎The Senator described Eid-el-Fitr as a time for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the virtues of devotion, compassion, humility, and self-discipline nurtured during the holy month of Ramadan

‎He urged Muslim faithful to sustain the lessons of Ramadan by embracing kindness, unity, generosity, and peaceful coexistence in their daily lives, noting that the true essence of fasting is reflected in positive conduct and service to humanity.

‎Senator Oyewumi further emphasized that religion should serve as a moral compass in both public and private life, stressing that adherence to the teachings of faith would help curb societal challenges such as corruption, injustice, and abuse of public trust. He also called on Muslims and all Nigerians to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for lasting peace, unity, and continued progress in the country.

‎While extending Eid-el-Fitr greetings, the Senator commended the leadership of Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, for his people-centered governance and developmental strides across the state.

‎Senator Oyewumi therefore urged the people of Osun State to continue supporting Governor Adeleke and rally behind his re-election bid in order to consolidate the progress and sustain the developmental agenda currently transforming the state.
